Health & Safety Administrator

Safety Management are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Administrator to join our thriving Health and Safety Consultancy.

The position will be implanted into our client, who are a world-renowned manufacturing business based in Milton Keynes. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who wants to develop their Health and Safety experience further, in a diverse and fast paced environment.

Reporting into the site Health and Safety Manager you will support the smooth running of the Health and Safety function by providing support to the Health and Safety team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring the completion of monthly workplace inspections
  • Following up actions from H&S audits and inspections
  • Liaising with the occupational health service provider regarding weekly health surveillance scheduling, along with updates on new starters/leavers.
  • Arrange company-wide H&S training
  • Administration of the company H&S Management System

It's is essential that you have strong administration skills and be a competent user of Word and Excel. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment at a NEBOSH certificate level is desirable.

This position is initially based on a 12 month contract with the scope to move into a long term role in the future.
