Latest Government Guidance on Covid19

The Government has released an update on Covid19 guidelines for England. From today, 16th August 2021, people who are under 18 and people who have had two vaccinations that are identified as close contacts of positive coronavirus cases no longer need to self isolate.

Our recommendations:

• Get the advisory PCR test if you have been in contact of a positive coronavirus case. Please note that in England (unlike Scotland) you don’t need to self-isolate while waiting for the result.
• Retain existing workplace precautions such as extra cleaning, good hand hygiene and ensuring adequate ventilation.
