SML are very pleased to be providing safety support for logistics firm Trade Distribution Ltd (TDL), a leader in specialist bespoke logistics in the UK and the Isle of Man.

With offices in Douglas, Isle of Man and Lancashire and network distribution centres in Belfast and Glasgow, TDL are well-placed to service the whole of the UK.  Established in 2000 the firm has a fleet of 75 vehicles and 120 trailers including temperature-controlled, curtain-sided, double-deck boxes and curtain-sided, walking floor, tippers and flatbeds.

Along side its management team, the firm employs over 100 operational staff and offers unique, tailored solutions to meet customer requirements.

As logistics specialists, SML have over time developed bespoke safe systems of work and best practice documents for companies involved in load deliveries.  We understand the specific challenges in the industry and can help with a range of services.
